Designing and building furniture is a personal affair & often a collaboration wth other artists. The Grain of Thought team consists of  a talented group of professionals that hail from diverse backgrounds. Some come to us as apprentices to learn the fundamentals of our craft. Others are design students with diplomas in furniture making from the most impressive schools in the United States. Still others come from traditional apprenticeship systems in Europe. Finally, some are completely self trained. In total, they are a very talented and highly skilled group of craftsmen.
